Honest note

What these courses are, and are not

They are

Knowledge courses

Structured, current and written by people who know the sector. They give you the whole picture of a trade before you commit years and thousands of pounds to it, and they point you at the right qualification rather than the one that markets hardest.

They are not

A licence to work

An EAL Learn+ Certificate of Completion records a 30-hour learning activity. It is not a regulated qualification and it does not confer competence to carry out plumbing, gas, electrical or any other restricted work. Every course says so plainly, on the certificate itself.
